A superbill is an itemized monthly receipt you can send to your insurer to claim reimbursement. It carries a diagnosis code, which your insurer will see. Your plan may reimburse part of the fee, and reimbursement is not guaranteed.

If you pay without insurance, you have the right to receive an estimate of your costs before care begins. We give you one in writing. It is not a contract.

Yes. Most health savings and flexible spending cards work for sessions. Check your plan for what it covers.

We talk. I ask questions, you share what feels right, and you can ask me anything. By the end we have a sense of direction.

Your clinician sets the pace with you. Many people start weekly and move to every other week, and visits run about 50 minutes.

I am licensed as a psychologist in Oregon. Video visits are for clients in states where we are licensed, so you need to be in Oregon at the time of the visit. If you live elsewhere, I can suggest where to look.

What you say in session is private. The law sets a few limits, such as a serious risk of harm to you or someone else. I explain them in the first session.
